food_icon Ciarans café is nestled in the award winning Dromroe Village complex on the campus of University of Limerick. The café provides excellent and interesting vegetarian dishes served in an atmosphere of fun where even the most dedicated carnivores enjoy the novelty of trying and enjoying new flavors and textures.

Our menu of fresh foods, that we serve each day, changes as we like to use the freshest ingredients as the availability of such food changes all the time.

The Café enjoys the patronage from outside campus as well as from the staff and students in the university. Due to the enthusiasm of his patrons Ciaran has been running what can only be called a cookery experience .

We hope to offer using the finest nut, seeds and grains, complimented with organic oils and largely prepared in its own raw state a menu of uncooked foods prepared in a manner that the enzymes, minerals and nutrients wherein are least injured. Our cuisine will include everything under the sun but will not include meats of any kind.

We are open from 09.00 to 15.00 Monday to Friday. Our lunches start at 12.30 at end at approximately 14.20. We do not take bookings but generally we can accomodate everyone who comes.

We also hope to explore some of the very exciting and controversial theories on diets ie. Vegetarian, wheat-free, dairy-free, food combining, protein versus carbohydrate, sugar-free and other diets.
